MEET THE THERAPISTS
"I've handpicked some of the finest massage therapists in Cambridge to join me in providing high quality massage therapy."
Upon qualifying in 2005, I considered a job well done when my client appeared relaxed at the end of their treatment. Fast forwarding to today, I realise I am only doing a good job when my client is relaxed before their treatment begins.
I have learned that when a client books time for themselves they deserve to be listened to. They have unique needs and expectations and it is my role to exceed these.
So, in answer to the question, my favourite treatments are ones where I have listened to and fully understood the client, and provided the treatment they needed.
I have 15 years dedicated Massage Therapy experience, 10 years experience of teaching Intermediate Level Complementary Therapies to Cambridge University Massage Society and 11 years experience as a Therapist at Neal's Yard Remedies.
I have been a mentor to newly qualified Therapists and have had the pleasure of working independently with over 4000 clients to date. My most recent achievement was to be awarded Fellow status with the FHT for 'Outstanding service and experience in my field'. In 2018 I chose to relocate to new premises and expand my business by bringing together a team of exceptional Associate Therapist's who share my values and vision of supporting people with skill, compassion and efficiency... and so begins a new chapter at Emma Kenny Massage Therapies.

Nicola is available on Mondays and Thursdays
I first discovered the power of aromatherapy and massage while working in a particularly stressful city job. It wasn’t long until I was totally hooked on the benefits these techniques can bring, both physically and emotionally, so after having my first child I retrained so that I could help others find the emotional and physical relief that I had so desperately needed.
I competed my initial diploma in Massage and Essential Oil Science with Neal's Yard Remedies in 2013. Subsequently, I have trained in pregnancy massage and completed a one year Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy Certificate with Jing Advanced Massage Training. I also work as a mentor to students on the Neal’s Yard diploma course.
Through the use of aromatherapy and advanced massage techniques, I aim to create the ideal treatment to help relieve your symptoms, treat the root cause of any pain and leave you with a sense of wellbeing. Having experienced pregnancy twice and had two very different births, I love being able to help sooth both the physical and emotional needs of these special clients during and after pregnancy.

Jenni is available on Mondays
I’m Jen (call me Jen or Jenni – I don’t mind which).
I learnt massage back in the early 2000’s because after receiving my first back, neck and shoulder massage. I totally understood how amazing it felt to get rid of those aches, pains and strains and I knew that I wanted to let other people know just how amazing massage can be.
I know that going to see someone for a massage can be quite daunting so here are few fun random facts about me to get to know me better….
1. I loooove movies – I’ve seen well over 70 movies this year so far.
2. On November 6th 2011 I completed the New York Marathon – it took me 7hrs 55mins & 31seconds (pure stubbornness got me through it and lots of tearful phone calls to my sister who was there supporting, along with my amazing trainer Junior, who completed the marathon, then walked back to meet me and help me finish).
3. I have a degree in Psychology and a Masters in Equine Science – and I would love to go back and do Masters in Health Psychology focusing on the effects of massage on brain waves.
4. I adore everything Elvis Presley!!! I have books, records, cushions, framed pictures, IPad covers, keyrings, pens, notebooks all with Elvis on. My favourite Elvis songs are Love Me & Devil in Disguise.
5. When I was 18, along with my sister and about 35 other people, we trekked and canoed the Amazon Rainforest (we even had to sing a nursey rhyme to some of the soldiers as part of challenge task) all for charity. I had previously done a tandem skydive for the same charity when I was 16.
6. As of 2016, I’m now internationally recognised as a Massage Therapist. I gained my California Massage Licence after a year of paperwork, Exams and hard work.

Tania is available on Wednesdays and Sundays, and for On Site Massage by prior arrangement.
I feel that receiving a great massage is simply one of the most wonderful things - and something everyone needs more of in their lives! I believe that massage not only aids and rejuvenates on a physical level, but is deeply beneficial on a spiritual, mental and emotional one too.
I first studied massage 18 years ago and instantly loved the connection and calmness it brought. Since then I've given massages to people in corporate offices in Berlin, at retreats in the English countryside and even on the dance floor at the Wonder events here in Cambridge! I moved to Cambridge in 2018 to be closer to my family and this beautiful city has stolen my heart - after a decade of living abroad and moving around I'm so happy to have found such a lovely, peaceful part of the world to settle in.
I am trained in deep tissue and pregnancy massage and also offer on-site massage therapy in the workplace. My aim is to provide a space in which my clients can slow down, tune in to their body and leave feeling rested and restored. I offer a mindful, meditative massage combining slow, deep, flowing strokes with Amma pressure work, Trigger Point therapy and Myofascial Release. Through communication with each of my clients, I treasure being able to provide them the massage session which is right for them at that moment in time.
